Behind the smile that welcomes you at the Elvezia Boutique Hotel there is a family tradition that has been going on for years and generations. “We are Alice and Alessia, two sisters that manage the Elvezia Boutique Hotel with simplicity, kindness and intimacy. With our team and through expertise and quality we enhance our guests’ holiday concept: the right mix that allows us to make your stay unique as the atmosphere of your own home”.

A FAMILY STORY

A generation of hoteliers in Cannobio who over many years has developed through women. The ones who wrote the story, as the sisters Alice and Alessia tell us, were the grandparents Ezio, born in 1929 and Adelina, born in 1936.

1938

“Our family entered the world of hospitality with a little lodge where house-wine was consumed by the glass and cards were played until the morning of the following day. It was created by great-grandparents Eugenio and Elvira. But the strong soul, the one who changed everything, was later Adelina, an elegant woman from Turin who immediately made Ezio – Elvira and Eugenio’s only son – fall in love.

1959

Adelina and Ezio got married and they built their love nest above the kitchen of the Elvezia Inn and from here they started living their life as hoteliers working with Italian tourists. Ezio used to work nights and days in the kitchen and Adelina as a waitress, housemaid and much more.

1961

Claudia, Adelina and Ezio’s only daughter, was born and from that moment many innovations have been made at the hotel such as hot water and extensions to get more rooms.

2006

Claudia takes over the management of the Elvezia hotel until 2012, working with an increasingly foreign and demanding tourists.

2013

It was only in 2013 that Alice and Alessia became part of the hotel management and they still do it excellently, thanks also to the complete renovation and expansion built in 2018/2019 which allowed them to keep up with the times.

Bellissimo piccolo boutique hotel. Avevamo una camera all’ultimo piano, da dove si può vedere una splendida vista sul lago. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente e mostrati in giro. Colazione molto deliziosa e ottimo cappuccino. Fare colazione nell’idilliaco giardino fa iniziare bene la giornata. Bellissimo hotel in un ambiente bellissimo.

L'hotel è molto pulito e arredato con gusto.Tutto è stato rifatto e funziona perfettamente. C'è un bellissimo giardino dove è possibile anche fare colazione. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. La posizione è perfetta. In 2 minuti si è al porto e in centro. C'è un supermercato nelle vicinanze e si può parcheggiare gratuitamente. Sicuramente torneremo in questo hotel la prossima volta.

Questo posto è davvero consigliato, è molto pulito, ha una posizione fantastica, è stato accolto da personale estremamente cordiale. Il proprietario e la colazione erano meravigliosi. La camera era assolutamente pulita e il balcone con vista lago fantastico. Il giardino nel cortile è un'oasi nella frenesia di Cannobio e c'è un'enorme terrazza solarium. Ci piacerebbe tornare - e sicuramente!!!!!
